remeron + lithium
Question:
I have been on 30 mg of Remeron for a month now. I was previously on Effexor for five years but thought I would try Remeron because of the so called lack of sexual side effects. My sex drive has picked up (from non-existent) and I am not depressed at all but do find that I am easily agitated (ie. lose my temper). Lithium is known for treatment of agitation in manic-depressives. Would a Remeron + Lithium combo lesson or alleviate the agitation? Anyone tried? Suggestions? Comments?

I have not taken such a combination and I am not sure offhand, of the interaction result… I found this site which has a lot on lithium and other drugs, and a section to ask the Pharmacist, which might help. http://www.windsofchange.com/form.html and you might want to look at my collection of articles and bookmarks at Squiggles
