Excellent statement. because, as I have said before, none of us has an infinite amount of money and time to try every proffered alternative remedy out there. No, I like altecodals very much. It’s the sort of word often adopted by alt.usage.english and made a part of their special "in" vocabulary. I don’t care much for antecode. I will probably adopt altecodal myself, as a distinctly preferable spelling. Larry
