Question:

What web page? I use Noni, I don’t sell it, blows you’re theory all to heck. I just want to let other people know that Noni juice works.

Response:

>What web page? I use Noni, I don’t sell it, blows you’re theory all to heck. >I just want to let other people know that Noni juice works.

The problem is that you do not know if it works.  You think it works, and confuse this for ‘knowing’ it works. "They laughed at Galileo. They laughed at Newton But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown." Carl Sagan

And you just had to tell all of us at alt.support.asthma, alt.support.cancer and alt.health on the same day even though you had never posted to any of the newsgroups under the name of "noni-noni" or "      Newsgroups: alt.support.cancer

Sure, just another altruist posting to multiple groups.  You must be used to others as uneducated as you.

You think it works for all illnesses, not just asthma? According to Google: So far this year, Noni advocates have been touting Noni in: alt.support.cancer alt.support.crohns-colitis alt.support.headaches.migraine alt.support.asthma alt.support.arthritis alt.support.alzheimers alt.support.chronic-pain alt.support.cancer-breast alt.support.depression alt.support.lupus alt.support.diabetes alt.support.skin-diseases.psoriasis Do you really think that this Noni Juice could possibly help all these illnesses?  Doesn’t that strain credibility? No apology appears necessary, but what in the world do you mean by it?     Larry

Since that is the least offensive thing you have ever called me, I guess I’ll accept it.     Larry

Well you chastised me at one time as being a troublemaker by responding to his e-mails. I can ignore him most of the time as that is the best solution.

Oh, now I recognize the nature of the insult. I’m sorry I didn’t understand the first time around.     Larry

Come on, noni_noni, let’s have some farqing answers this time! > What web page? I use Noni, I don’t sell it, blows you’re theory all to heck. > I just want to let other people know that Noni juice works.

Right, let’s get to the bottom of your first claim, then! Are you asthmatic?????? Please answer this question!  Readers of this ng have a right to know! If so, do you have any evidence that noni has improved your asthma, for example, before-and-after PEF readings taken over a period of a year or two, under the supervision of a medical specialist? If you’re not personally using noni for asthma, in what way is noni "fantastic stuff"?  And why are you posting on an asthma ng at all? Asthma is a serious, debilitating, chronic illness, that has a major impact on sufferers’ lives.  It is NOT a few harmless episodes of childhood wheezing which the child will "grow out of".  Many people reading this newsgroup have very serious health problems with asthma and are looking for information on treatments that will genuinely be benefit.  Perhaps you can now understand why posts of the kind you have made here produce critical responses. > there are the hundreds of thousands living worldwide that purchase noni from > the over 200 companies that produce noni, and they say it works wonders.

You say 200 companies produce noni.  Are there any established standards for noni products?  Do these 200 manufacturers routinely submit their products to independent analytical laboratories to vet that they actually contain what it says on the label?  Do all these different manufacturers adhere to common quality control standards?  Do the manufacturers ensure that their products do not contain ingredients that are known asthma triggers, for example, sulfur dioxide preservative that is common in many foodstuffs? In short, can I buy noni products that are produced to the same rigorous standards as medical pharmaceuticals? If you can’t answer "yes" to these questions, how can any credibility be placed in your claims for noni at all?  If I buy a noni product, what possible assurance can I have about the product’s composition? > trashing it. If they don’t want to try it…don’t. I buy i, I use it, I like > what it does for me.

So just what are your claims of the benefits of noni for asthma? All you’ve said is that it’s "fantastic stuff" and it "works wonders" and you "like what it does" for you. What does any of that mean, if anything?  Please post your reply here. I want to know!  Or if you can’t tell us, why are you posting here? So tell us!  What proven benefit does noni have for your asthma? Do you have the lung function test results to demonstrate it’s value to you? Or don’t you even suffer from asthma at all? ***** gumbo ***** "Tough on bollox and tough on the causes of bollox"

Well, they answered aroberts, you never know.  And Steven L. ‘himself’ asked me to post this every time they showed up.

Response:

Check out what the FDA says about this stuff.  Go to warning letters.  And no this is considered a supplement so it is not under any obligations to follow the fda guidelines.  UM Mom Susan
