Medical term for breathing problem?

Question:

Could it not be the case that chiropractors’ flowery metaphoric language is opportunism and tit for tat? They see that scientific medicine uses it as well. In any case metaphoric expressions such as "my gut feeling" or "put our heads together", have such an immediate appeal and a firm place in our culture. It seems to be a question of being aware of what is good and legitimate mental training ("this game is going to be won in your heads" etc.) and what is phony. Telling patients that the active principle of a medicine is something which can be impressed on other molecules so that even after a 10 to the power of 30 dilution (what for? one must ask) plenty of it will be around is supposed to have a reproducible healing effect. Could not the basic argument in favor of orthodox medical education be that the exams will weed out those with unsuitable characters?
