Grass pollen is killin' me….

Question:

I live in the southeastern part of the US and since last Thurs., I have been miserable. Woke up Thurs sneezing and by that night my sinuses ran down my throat. This weekend my throat was so raw and inflammed it felt like someone had their hand around my throat. My voice deepened greatly and my asthma started flaring up on Sat. I had to up my Flovent from 220 mcg to 330 mcg 2X/day but I am still getting worse. Since Weds my peak flow dropped from 500 to 420. I feel great at 500 but anything 450 and below I start getting really sick. It is now Tues morning and I just woke up to use the nebulizer which I never use except when I get really bad. I take Zyrtec and Nasonex for my allergies which normally works great. And I take Albuterol, Flovent, Serevent and Accolate for my asthma. I am going to the doctor tomorrow. How is everyone else doing? Dana

Here in the Midwest the grass pollen is killing me! Must be all over. The allergy alert here is at 8.7 on a scale of 12. Lots of folks suffering here. Denise — Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once. -Shakespeare-

The combination of Allegra and Singulair has left me free of allergy symptoms for the first time in my life.  I’ve been on Allegra for a year or so and just added Singulaire about two weeks ago.  I highly recommend Singulair along with one of the Claritin/Zyrtec/Allegra trio for allergies if you have asthma.  My personal regime is Allegra, Singulair, Advair, and Nasonex. -S- – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I live in the southeastern part of the US and since last Thurs., I have > been miserable.
