If you live in the Southern or Eastern part of the LA basin, you might try: Dr. S. Meltzer 3816 Woodruff Avenue #209 Long Beach, CA.  90808 (562) 496-4749 He is an asthma/allergy specialist who teaches at the UCI school of medicine as well as treats patients.  I have been seeing him for a year now and am very satisfied. — We make war so we may live in peace. If he has allergies, a pediatric allergist would be appropriate. You can search for a Board Certified Allergist or Pulmonologist at the ABMS site [American Board of Medical Specialties] http://www.abms.org/newsearch.asp Major teaching medical schools like UCLA & USC & Cedars-Sinai have  qualified specialist; you can often find doctor’s biographies on their websites. For example: http://www.csmc.edu/pediatrics/ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Dept of Pediatrics [search on medical specialty] http://www.huclapeds.rei.edu/ Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Dept of Pediatrics       Torrance Division of Allergy/Immunology                                 Chad K. Oh, M.D.                                 Chief, Allergy/Immunology                                 Assistant Professor of Pediatrics                                 Margaret A. Keller, M.D.                                 Associate Professor of Pediatrics                                 Charles H. Song, M.D.                                 Associate Professor of Pediatrics  There is a book in the reference section of your library that lists board certified physicians. Ellis
