Multivitamin causes my asthma
Question:
Started taking a multivitamin 1 a day, had hayfever all my life, then one night a sudden onset of asthma lasting 20 mins, chest really tight, a few days before I am getting the worse hayfever I have ever had and psoriasis flares up in areas I’ve never had it before, I stop taking MVit and hey presto everything is back to normal: mild hayfever, no breathing difficulties and isolated pockets of psoriasis. What is the allergen ingredient? Has anyone else here had similar probs?

It depends on your allergies. People have had allergic reactions to multivitamins because of soy, corn, or milk fillers, or other additives. Joan

You might be allergic to one of the ingrediants of the multivitamin. If you have any know allergies to corn, soy or dairy (maybe otherthings also), you need to read every label very carefully. sue
